*OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS – WEIGHING
1)Place the scale on a flat hard surface.
2)If th bowl is necessary, please place it on the tray now.
3)Press and release the [ON/OFF] key.
4)Wait until the displays shows “O”.
5)Gently place the items to be weighed on the tray or in the bowl.
6)The weight will be displayed on the LCD.

*FEATURES
Power Up Segment Test
When first turning the unit on, all segments of the display will appear.
This display will remain for approximately 3 seconds and then reset to zero.

Overload indicator
When the display shows “Err’; this indicates an overload. Remove excessive
load immediately. Remember: you can permanently damage the scale and void
your warranty by overloading it!

Low battery indicator
If the display shows “Lo’; it indicates low batteries. The battery needs to
be replaced for the scale to function properly.

*Negative Value
Any tared value will be displayed as a negative number once all weight is
removed, press [Z/T] or cycle the power to re-zero the scale.

*Auto off
An auto shut off feature is provided to conserve battery power. The unit will
automatically turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity. To maximize battery life
further, you can turn off the scale early by pressing [ON/OFF].

*Extra bowl
The STEELE” is provided with an extra stainless steel bowl. This bowl is
large to accommodate usual food items and is washable with water or in a
dishwasher.

*Timer
It is possible to set the timer fora maximum of 99 minutes and 59seconds:
1) Long Press [T-SET] to start the timer setting.
2) Use the [UNIT] and 7 keys to set the digit value and [T-SET] to go to the next digit.
3) After the last digit is set, press [T-SET] again to start the timer.
4) When the timer gets to “00.00”an alarm will beep 60 times and the scale will shut off
automatically. To cancel the timer before it ends, press any key but [ON/OFF] or the scale will turn off.
