Product Description

The Glass Petri Dish 80×15 mm is a high-quality laboratory glassware product designed for microbiological research, culture growth, sample observation, laboratory experiments, and general scientific applications. With a 80 mm diameter and 15 mm height, this Petri dish provides a spacious working surface, making it suitable for applications that require more room than standard-sized Petri dishes.

The Petri Dish series is available in multiple sizes, including 60 × 15 mm, 80 × 15 mm, 90 × 15 mm, 100 × 15 mm, 120 × 20 mm, 150 × 25 mm, 180 × 30 mm, and 200 × 30 mm. This range allows laboratories and researchers to select the appropriate size according to their experimental requirements.

Manufactured from durable, optically clear glass, the Petri Dish offers excellent visibility of samples and cultures during observation. The glass construction provides good chemical resistance and makes the dish suitable for repeated laboratory use when properly cleaned and sterilized. Its flat-bottom design allows stable placement on laboratory benches and provides a convenient surface for culture and sample handling.

The 80×15 mm can be suitable for microbiological applications involving the growth and observation of microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi. It may also be used for sample preparation, tissue culture-related laboratory work, chemical testing, physical testing, and educational experiments. Where laboratory protocols require sterile equipment, the glass dish can be sterilized using appropriate laboratory sterilization procedures, including autoclaving when compatible with the specific product and operating conditions.
